Welcome to Sprynt Now – No Judgement, Just Honest Fitness Talk.

We didn’t set out to reinvent fitness. We just wanted to make it easier to understand.

Sprynt Now originally started as a small, no frills gym tucked into a side street in my hometown. It wasn’t fancy just weights, sweat, and a tight knit group of people who showed up consistently. I’m Edward Oakes, and I ran that gym for almost a decade. During that time, I learned something more valuable than any certification: most people don’t struggle with motivation they struggle with information.

Over the years, I had conversations with hundreds of members who were unsure about things they didn’t feel comfortable asking in a group setting. Questions like, “Can I lose fat without doing cardio every day?” or “How do I build muscle without eating like a bodybuilder?” These weren’t beginner mistakes they were real, everyday uncertainties that even regulars dealt with.

That’s when I knew the real need wasn’t just access to equipment it was access to clear, judgment free answers. So that’s when, I shifted gears. I launched Sprynt Now as an online resource, built to provide the kind of honest, practical fitness knowledge people often search for but rarely find explained simply.

We’re not selling programs. We’re not pushing trends. We’re breaking things down from training strategy to diet tweaks, from gym myths to gear insights all based on lived experience, not guesswork. Whether you’re a seasoned lifter wondering how to cut after bulking or someone just trying to figure out what machine burns the most calories, you’ll find answers here without the noise.

Sprynt Now is for the curious. The cautious. The quietly committed. And for anyone who’s ever typed a fitness question into Google and felt more confused than when they started.

I write most of what’s here, sharing what I’ve learned from the gym floor and the people who walked through it. My goal? To make fitness feel less like a maze and more like a map.

Thanks for stopping by. Ask what you want. Learn what you need. We’ll keep making sense of it together.

Real Questions. Clear Answers. No Intimidation.

Edward Oakes – Gym Owner, Writer, and Practical Fitness Educator

Edward Oakes is the owner of a well regarded neighborhood gym known for its down to earth environment and thoughtful approach to fitness. With a background in strength coaching and nutritional science, Edward has spent over a decade helping people improve how they move, eat, and think about training. But what truly shaped his path wasn’t just the coaching it was the questions.

He started to notice how often clients, no matter their experience level, would pull him aside after a session to ask things like, “Should I lift before or after cardio?” or “Can I get leaner without losing strength?” These weren’t throwaway questions they were smart, honest ones that people often felt unsure about asking out loud.

Over time, Edward realized these conversations deserved a bigger space. That’s when Sprynt Now began taking shape not to replace the gym, but to carry its spirit into the digital world. Today, Edward still coaches locally, while using Sprynt Now to reach a wider audience with the same patient, real-world fitness insight he’s known for on the gym floor.
